Tandem Bike

Tromsø Outdoor offers two tandem bikes for rent:
- Lapierre Touring Tandem
- Tandem Yosemite 500

The Lapierre Touring Tandem is high quality bike you can take for a day trip for long tour along Norwegian coats.

Frame size: front 50 cm, rear 45 cm (recommended users heights ca. 150-180 cm tall in front and 150-175 cm tall at the back)
Gear: 27 Shimano Deore XT SLM590, 9 gears
Weight: 21 kg
Maximum passengers weight: 200 kg + 25 kg max luggage rack load

The touring tandem is equipped with:
- mud fenders
- three water bottle holders
- rear luggage rack
- bike computer
- lowrider

In addition you can rent:
- bike bags: rear, front and for the handle bar (handle bar holder follows)
- bike cargo and child trailers


The Tandem Yosemite 500 is suitable for shorter day trips in the vicinity of Tromsø or for those who want to try riding in tandem for the first time. This bike is not really suitable for longer tours, so cannot be rented for such.
