Arctic Summer Food Tour by Minibus

Join us on this Arctic food and culture tour and experience Tromsø region with all your senses. Learn about Tromsø region and the local food traditions and history from a local guide. We will take you to 5 different spots around the stunning fjords of Tromsø so you can take photos and try some local food specialities, including tastings of dried reindeer meat and dried cod. During the berry picking season, you can experience the local tradition of picking and eating the freshest berries ever, such as blueberries, and cloudberries.
Then we drive you to the Malangen peninsula (a 45-minute drive from Tromsø) for an authentic culinary experience at Tove’s, our local Norwegian chef. You will be served a delicious home-made lunch, with locally-grown ingredients. The 2-course lunch includes a soup with flowers -and bread with flower butter - and cake. There will be time for you to walk around this beautiful area.
At the end of the tour, your guide will take you to a famous local shop so you can bring local products home.
The photos taken by your guide will be available for free after the tour and can be downloaded from Best Arctic Website.
