Roy Sætre Arctic Trip
This tour is conducted by Roy Sætre Arctic Trip. Chase the Northern Lights with an experienced, local guide, Roy. The main goal is to find clear sky to be able to see the northern lights. Enjoying staying outdoors, meeting new people and having a good time.
Northern lights chase from Tromsø by minibus with an experienced, local guide, Roy. We will drive through steep mountains and fjords to find clear skies and a nice location, where we can enjoy landscapes while waiting for the Lady Aurora. You can sit on a reindeerskin around campfire listening stories, barbequeing and tasting some local specialities. And the main of all, just enjoying staying outdoors and meeting new people.
Photographing will be in focus during the trip. Our guide, Roy, has over ten years experience with Northern Lights guiding and will share of his knowledge and tips. He is happy to help you with your camera as well. In addition to traditional pictures, we have equipment to take timelapsevideo, 360 pictures and 4k video of Northern Lights, if the conditions allow us to.
Included: Local, english speaking guide, transportation, thermal suit, winter boots, hat, mittens, chocolate, nuts, biscuits, hot drinks, barbequeing over the campfire, pictures (raw and jpeg) and possible videos from the tour. Tripod available on request.
Please bring: Passport in case we need to cross the border to Finland. Warm clothes. Wool socks are recommended.
Duration: from 6 to 8 hours, depending on the weather and the northern lights activity
Number of participants: 2-8 (driving with minibus with 16 seats)
Level of difficulty: Easy
Departure time and place: 6pm (18:00) at Grønnegata 35 (outside Comfort Hotel Xpress)
