Sørøya Havfiskecruise

Sørøya Havfiskecruise has been operating since 2006, and we can proudly introduce ourselves as the pioneer of winter tourism by boat in Tromsø. We are a North Norwegian company with local skippers and crew.
This tour is conducted by Sørøya Havfiskecruise.

We use our solid catamaran MB Havcruise, which is specificially built for fishing tourism. Top equipment, local skippers and crew with years of experience and knowledge makes this a memorable, comfortable and safe trip. A maximum of 12 guests per trip provides a social and cozy atmosphere.

Our slogan is quality over quantity.

It is almost a "must" to do a fishing trip while in Tromsø. Large cod is common to get at this time of year, and we also often catch catfish, coalfish, pollack, haddock and halibut. We have to date not gone empty-handed to the jetty!

As an added bonus, we often see eagles and small dolphins. The beautiful clear winter colors, surrounding us is breathtaking.

The tour ends with a feast of your own catch, you can't get a fresher fish meal.




Yearly checks are done on the equipment and boat at an authorized ship yard. All our passengers are well insured on board.

Availability period: This Sørøya Havfiskecruise tour is available from 20th October 2024 to 26th March 2025.

Included: Fishing equipment, floating suits, guide, hot drinks, a fresh fish meal out of the catch.
Please bring: Warm clothing, gloves, hat, warm shoes and thermal underwear.
Duration: 3 hours

Departure time and place: 09:30 AM (09:30) from the floating pier by Scandic Ishavshotel.

How to reach the meeting point: Meeting point is beside our boat MS Havcruise (red and white aluminium catamaran, 14,9 meter long and 7 meter wide). We are located behind Scandic Ishavshotel at the outer floating dock/jetty. There are two gangways down to the floating docks. Use the one at the end of the hotel, closest to the open see.
